§ 26-16. False testimony.

Any person who shall willfully and knowingly swear falsely while under oath in giving evidence in the municipal court or at any other time and place within the town where an oath has been taken before the mayor and other officer of the town who may be qualified to administer oaths, or who shall procure or attempt to procure the same, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
