Latest version.
  • (a)

It shall be unlawful for any keeper or owner of any pool or billiard table to allow any minor under 18 years of age to play pool or billiards or any other similar game, in any place where tables are used and such games are played, or to allow such minors to frequent or loiter in any pool or billiard room; provided however, that this section shall not apply to Young Men's Christian Associations, clubs, or private homes where such games are played for social purposes only, without fee, toll or charge.

    (b)

This section also does not apply to youth or teen arcades or games rooms where alcohol and gambling are prohibited so long as such establishments are appropriately supervised by the owners and where the only charge or cost for such pool or billiards tables are the funds necessary to operate the vending portion of the pool or billiards table, generally by the mechanism of a coin-operated vending unit.
