§ 58-253. Stealing property valued at less than $200.00.

(a)

It shall be unlawful and a violation of this Code to steal from a person, or from the premises of any person within the corporate limits of the town, property the value of which is under $200.00, or to enter the premises of any other person with intent to commit such offense.

(b)

Any person properly arrested and successfully prosecuted under this section shall be subject to punishment as provided in section 1-12.
