§ 82-123. Definitions; restrictions; exemptions.

  • (a)

    Truck tractors as defined in S.C. Code 1976, § 56-5-210, that is a two or more axle truck designated for the pulling of semi-trailer, as defined in S.C. Code 1976, § 56-5-250, on highways are hereby prohibited from travel on Gray Drive within the town limits.

    (b)

    Any driver of any such truck tractor may use Gray Drive in route to his home while off duty and, unless otherwise prohibited by a general or zoning law, may park his truck tractor at his residence until he returns to work.

    (c)

    This section does not restrict the use of truck tractors, and/or semi-trailers used by businesses in the normal course of business for and during legitimate business purposes such as deliveries, moving vans, delivery and removal of construction equipment, authorized emergency vehicles, or any vehicles actually being used by law enforcement.
