§ 58-20. Interfering with fire and police alarm boxes and giving false alarm.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully, maliciously or mischievously:

    (1)

    Interfere with, cut or injure any pole, wire, insulator or alarm box;

    (2)

    Give a false alarm from such box or by use of a telephone; or

    (3)

    Break the glass in such box of any fire or police alarm system in the town or any of the appliances or apparatus connected therewith.

    (b)

    Anyone found in violation of this section shall be subject to punishment as provided in section 1-12.
